Mission Statement
The principal objective of Education Realized is to revolutionize secondary education such that scholastic excellence is no longer contingent upon a student’s socio-economic or racial background. Our recognition of the critical need for educational reform in underprivileged communities provides the source of inspiration and the concomitant resoluteness to transform the heretofore disappointing educational experience of lower income students in the public school system into one that promotes intellectual acuity, self-confidence, passion for achievement, and social conscientiousness. We also endeavor to ensure that all of our attendees retain a sense of solidarity with their respective communities-and society at large-through a curriculum that defines personal success as coextensive with a commitment to the service of others. It is our belief that the affordable, private education the students receive at our academies will serve as a model to other institutions-both public and private-in developing programs that satisfactorily address the needs of all students. In administering our program we seek to emphasize creativity, depth of understanding, high standards of performance, respect for students as individuals, and holistic development of the mind and heart of each young person. We deem this approach fundamental to any authentic desire for quality instruction generally, and particularly vital where disadvantaged youth are concerned. Education Realized represents a new era in education; an era where receiving a superior education is possible for everyone.
